Happy to announce the first release on the label. Chipbag Melodies has a thin but palpable haze over it which makes it easy on the ears. & There is sincere hook after sincere hook. It was immediately inviting. I remember first listening to the album as background noise while i worked & i found myself humming it the next couple of days. It has a sense of familiarity. So I sat down & gave it a real listen & the songs evoked a feeling of comfort & closeness that’s immediately recognizable. Aubrey’s voice resides comfortably in the mix. & I’m sure this album will reside comfortably in people’s minds.
